Today’s sightings…
A pair of Pied Wagtails have bred at Toad Holes beck which is good news. Also at the site I found (due to the cool spring) that Damselflies and butterflies were in short supply. About 20 Azure Damselflies only were recorded however…
The Northern Orchid returns…
The Northern Orchid has returned to it’s usual spot at Toad Holes beck just beyond the steps leading to the Beck from Raw Nook Nr. There is just one plant at the moment but I think others will appear.
